How do I get started with Pencil Spaces?

How are minutes and storage calculated?

Minutes start being counted whenever a user has Pencil Spaces in the foreground and is actively doing something in their Space. Minutes are counted for each user in the Space. For example, if 3 participants join a call and use the whiteboard for 1 hour, then that counts as 3*60 = 180 minutes. Storage is calculated against any content that you upload to Spaces (e.g., PDFs, videos, images) as well as any cloud recordings you save.

How can I view my call minute and storage usage?

It's currently not possible to view your remaining call / storage quota. We will contact you if you exceed your limit to discuss moving you to one of our high usage Enterprise plans.

Do I have to enter my credit card details to sign-up?

No credit card details are required. Just sign-up and voilà! You’re good to go.

Does everyone need an account to collaborate on Pencil Spaces?

Yes, but you can easily create an account using your Google account in seconds! We also support a number of additional login options.

Will I be automatically charged when my trial ends?

No - we don't take any payment details! We, of course, hope you want to continue being a Pro user. However, if you don't feel like staying on this plan, we'll automatically move you to our Basic plan at the end of your trial period.

How do I change my plan? How can I access your additional services?

If you are a Free, Trial, or Pro user, you can adjust your plan from settings. If you're part of an enterprise, you can contact us via our live chat inside Pencil Spaces or through our various support options.
