Set it up once
Your admin adds the Pencil Spaces API key under Meeting Tools.
Learners book lessons and group classes on your marketplace.
During
Enter classroom
The teacher clicks Enter classroom on the lesson, under Bookings › Lessons.
The classroom opens in your portal, with video and a shared whiteboard.
Learners join without logging in again.
After
Back to your marketplace
Payments, commission and payouts stay in Yo!Coach.
Pencil Spaces bills you directly for the classroom.
Setup
Connected in three steps.
Your marketplace admin connects it once for every teacher and learner.
Generate your API key.
In Pencil Spaces, open Settings › API & Integrations and click Generate API Key. Copy it somewhere safe; it’s shown only once.
Open Meeting Tools in Yo!Coach.
In your Yo!Coach Admin Dashboard, go to Settings › Manage Settings › Meeting Tools.
Paste and save.
Paste your key into the Pencil Spaces API Key field and save. Live sessions now run in Pencil Spaces.

Does the lesson open in a new tab?
No. Pencil Spaces opens inside your Yo!Coach lesson portal, so teachers and learners stay on your marketplace.
Do learners need a Pencil Spaces login?
No. They join from Yo!Coach without signing in again.
What does my marketplace need?
Your marketplace must be served over HTTPS.
Is Pencil Spaces included in my Yo!Coach plan?
No. Pencil Spaces is a separate subscription. New customers get a two-week free trial on any paid plan, with no credit card required.
Who can create the API key?
Institution Admins, in Settings › API & Integrations. The key is shown only once, so store it somewhere safe.
How is student data protected?
Pencil Spaces is FERPA, COPPA, GDPR and SOC 2 Type II compliant, and ISO 27001 certified.
