Augustine Literacy Project

ALP improves literacy in under-resourced communities around Charlotte, North Carolina. Partnering with Title I schools, ALP matches students with volunteers for one-to-one virtual tutoring. Tutors teach a structured curriculum and the ALP admin team use Pencil Spaces' scheduling tools to automatically adapt lessons to each student's pace and needs.

Osmond Education

Helen Osmond is an award-winning educator and founder of Osmond Education. Named the UK's Secondary Tutor of the Year in 2024, she delivers GCSE and A-level Mathematics tuition for underserved and neurodiverse learners. Helen uses Pencil Spaces to transform abstract concepts into interactive experiences that keep her students engaged and excited to learn.

Teach For America

Teach For America runs its high-dosage 1:1 tutoring program on Pencil Spaces across hundreds of schools in the United States. Tutoring is delivered by college students, with curriculum and processes varying widely between schools. TFA’s admin team relies on Pencil Spaces to track attendance, set semester schedules, and pair tutors with students for better learning outcomes.

Aaron, founder of Get Better At Physics, is a Physics tutor based in the United Kingdom. He uses Pencil Spaces' built-in interactive simulations and resources to provide the best learning environment for his students. Students treat their Spaces like their own personal workbooks, continually revisiting previous lessons and practice materials on their own time.
