Bizstim calls them sessions, practitioners and clients. Here’s how a session goes online.
Before
Choose Pencil Spaces
Pick Pencil Spaces in the session’s online meetings field, or make it your default.
Map an online location to Pencil Spaces, and sessions there pick it automatically.
Move Online moves open sessions online in bulk and creates their rooms.
During
Launch from the session
The classroom launches straight from the session.
Work problems out together on the whiteboard, with video, breakout rooms and apps.
After
Back in Bizstim
Send the after-session report and bill the session, as you do today.

Setup
Connected in three steps.
You need a Bizstim account, a Pencil Spaces account and a few minutes.
Generate your API key.
In Pencil Spaces, open Settings › API & Integrations and click Generate API Key. Copy it somewhere safe; you won’t see it again after refreshing.
Add it to Bizstim.
In Bizstim, open Settings › Calendar / Sessions, select Pencil Spaces and paste your API key.
Choose your options.
Pick the integration features you want and click Submit. Pencil Spaces is now available as your meeting provider.

Is Pencil Spaces included in my Bizstim plan?
No. Pencil Spaces is a separate subscription. New customers can start with a two-week free trial on any paid plan, with no credit card required.
Who built the integration?
Bizstim built it on the Pencil Spaces API. For questions about your Bizstim settings, contact Bizstim. For anything in the classroom, our team is here 24/7.
Where do I find my API key?
In Pencil Spaces, under Settings › API & Integrations. Pencil Spaces shows the key only once, so store it somewhere safe. If you lose it, contact our support team.
What do my students need?
Just the session in Bizstim. Pencil Spaces runs in the browser, so there’s nothing to install.
How is student data protected?
Pencil Spaces is FERPA, COPPA, GDPR and SOC 2 Type II compliant, and ISO 27001 certified.
