The problem
No buffer between back-to-back lessons
Tutors who teach back-to-back groups lose minutes between lessons going back to a list and finding the next Space. Lessons start late.
La méthode habituelle
Tutors keep a tab open for each Space, or bookmark every one.
How Pencil Spaces solves it
Tutors who teach back-to-back groups lose minutes between lessons going back to a list and finding the next Space. The Space Switcher will keep a sidebar of their Spaces beside the lesson: they pin the Spaces they teach every day, group them into their own sections, see which ones have a call live right now, and move to the next class in one click. In development.
Quels sont les changements ?
Smoother back-to-back lessons and fewer late starts.
What we’re building
- Pin the Spaces you teach every day
- Group them into sections of your own
- See which Spaces have a call live now
- Switch Spaces without leaving the lesson
What it looks like
Dans la pratique
A tutor pins the five Spaces she teaches every day and groups them by subject. At 4:59 she sees her 5:00 group has a call live, and switches without leaving the lesson.
In a 1:1 lesson
You group your SAT students in one section and switch from one to the next in a click.
In a group class
You see which of your sections have a live call and jump into the one that’s waiting.
In a virtual training
You pin each cohort’s Space and move between them without leaving the training.
In your classroom
Each period’s Space is pinned, and you switch on the board as the bell rings.
In the training room
You switch from the morning workshop’s Space to the afternoon’s in one click.
At home
Your son’s tutor arrives right on time, straight from the previous lesson.
