Dosage Tracking
Every minute, accounted for.
High-dosage tutoring is funded on the minutes students actually receive, and a cohort falling behind often goes unnoticed until the report is due. Dosage Tracking shows each program’s and cohort’s scheduled minutes next to the minutes actually delivered.
Your district contract promises minutes per student, and you find out you’re short at the end of term. See scheduled and delivered minutes for every program and cohort, from real attendance.
Your funded program promises minutes of instruction. See each cohort’s scheduled minutes next to the minutes delivered, from real attendance.
Required training hours have to be met and shown. See each cohort’s scheduled minutes next to the minutes delivered, from real attendance.

For programs run in Spaces, see each cohort’s scheduled minutes next to the minutes delivered, so required hours are met.
You’ll know your child is actually getting the tutoring time the program promised.

What it solves
- No evidence on which program design works
- Unsure their child actually attended
- Funding is hard to win and keep

What’s new
The problem
Promised minutes, unproven delivery
High-dosage tutoring is funded and judged on the minutes each student actually receives. Programs often discover a cohort fell short only when the report is due.
일반적인 방법
Coordinators total attendance in spreadsheets at the end of term.
How Pencil Spaces solves it
High-dosage tutoring is funded and judged on dosage: the minutes each student actually receives. Every program and cohort now shows the minutes scheduled next to the minutes delivered, plus the number of scheduled days, both in the cohorts list and in the program details panel. Delivered minutes come from real attendance, so a cohort that is falling behind its promised dosage shows up while there is still time to fix it.
변경 사항
Dosage you can prove to districts, cohort by cohort.
What it looks like
실제로는
A program director opens the cohorts list and sees one cohort scheduled for 1,800 minutes has delivered 1,350 so far. She adds makeup lessons while there’s still time.
In a 1:1 lesson
In October you spot a cohort running behind its promised minutes, and add makeup lessons.
In a group class
Your funded cohort’s delivered minutes track the plan, and you show the funder the program details panel.
In a virtual training
You see one cohort short of its required hours and schedule a catch-up before the deadline.
In your classroom
The district sees which schools’ cohorts are on track for their dosage, mid-semester.
In the training room
A cohort that missed a day shows up short, and you add a make-up workshop.
At home
Your child’s program can show the minutes of tutoring your son actually received.
