When a tutor is out, someone has to find a free, qualified substitute before the lesson starts. Often the lesson just gets cancelled.

How Pencil Spaces solves it
At 2:40, a tutor cancels her 3:30 lesson. The coordinator opens Find Available Tutors, filters by subject and time, and moves the student to a qualified tutor with One-Click Reassign.
The lesson still happens. Soon, Advanced Substitutions will offer it to several tutors at once.
